Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Healing Wings Ministry is a nonprofit ministry for struggling families. We work with families who have been broken by addiction, abuse, depression, anxiety, injuries/illness or anything else that has derailed them. We focus on the whole family to strengthen them spiritually, physically, emotionally, and financially so they can get "unstuck". The goal is to enable them to become a stable foundation, living with purpose and freedom. We are currently working on Camp RESET for kids K-12th grade.

Open Positions

Cabin Leader

Get into the trenches and build relationships with the campers that will change their lives and yours. These campers have come from some pretty difficult places. Be the love and light of Christ and help give them the week that will alter their direction forever! So, join us for camp! You will be in charge of nurture groups and with the help of the Cabin helper, will be responsible for a group of six kids. You will be staying overnight with them and joining them on their fun activities. You will receive training the two Saturdays before camp and have the chance to stay in your cabin the night before to prepare for your group.

Cabin Helper

Cooking Staff

Cooking Staff serve during one week of Camp RESET by preparing nourishing meals that create safety, routine, and care for campers and staff. Through consistent and welcoming meal times, they support the healing, connection, and joy that define the Camp RESET experience. They will prepare and serve three meals a day to campers during the week of June 15th - 19th.

Activities Staff

The Camp Activities Worker oversees and coordinates camp activities and events, creating a safe, engaging, and joy-filled environment where campers can build confidence, connection, and positive memories throughout the week.

Mentor

As a mentor you will be building a deeper relationship with your campers over the next year. You can either get to know them at camp as you visit daily or stay as a counselor with your group. A whole year’s commitment is required, and you will receive up to six campers. During this time, you will be a point of contact for the camper and their family. Campers can come to you for support, prayer, and any need they may have. You will encourage them spiritually and occasionally take them out for some fun. You will also work with the family if they have any questions, need for prayer or practical needs. They can come to you for help with rent, bills, clothing, furniture or anything else. You will report these needs to the Mentor Manger who will do their best to meet them. You will be required to submit a progress report monthly for each camper in your care. You will be required to attend some mentor staff meetings.

Fundraising Committee

Fundraising Committee Members partner with staff and board leadership to help secure the financial resources needed to carry out the mission of the organization. Committee members use their time, skills, relationships, and creativity to help cultivate donors, support fundraising efforts, and advocate for the organization in the community.
